Audioquest Niagara 7000
The Audioquest Niagara 7000 mains conditioner is an audiophile low-impedance power supply designed to filter the mains current in order to eliminate parasitic noise while protecting the devices connected to it from surges. With its 12 filtered electrical outlets, this Audioquest mains conditioner ensures optimal power supply for all the devices in your hi-fi or home cinema installation.
Audiophile filtering
The Audioquest Niagara 7000 mains conditioner represents over 20 years of development and research to produce the most accurate power supply. This Audioquest mains filter brings an undeniable improvement to the quality of the sound produced by audio systems, as well as to the resolution of video systems.
These disturbances can cause distortion and thus limit the performance of a high-end hi-fi system. To eliminate these disturbances, the Audioquest Niagara 7000 mains conditioner uses dielectrically biased mains current isolating transformers. This technology, patented by Audioquest, greatly reduces non-linear distortions while increasing the bandwidth and the efficiency of the noise dissipation of the transformers.
It is associated with a second noise dissipation system notably implementing 6 direction-controlled ground noise dissipation blocks. Capacitors developed in collaboration with Jet Propulsion Laboratories and NASA are also used in this Audioquest conditioner.
This design allows the Audioquest Niagara 7000 to reduce unwanted noise over 21 octaves over a very wide bandwidth.
Audioquest Niagara 7000: high current capacity
Very versatile, the Audioquest Niagara 7000 mains filter has 12 filtered electrical outlets.
The first 4 taps (blocks 1 and 2) are high current, low impedance blocks. They feature power supply transient correction technology and are designed to improve power amp operation by utilizing the low impedance transient current reservoir.
With an instantaneous current reservoir capable of delivering more than 90 A peak, the Audioquest Niagara 7000 is able to power the most demanding devices with dynamics and precision. The 4 sockets of blocks 3 and 4 are associated with an ultra linear filter. They are ideal for connecting a pre-amplifier or a turntable, for example. Finally, the last 4 sockets (blocks 5 and 6) are symmetrical models and benefit from a dielectric system.
These are for all line-level, digital, and video products. Just as effective in video as in hi-fi, the Audioquest Niagara 7000 mains filter guarantees a clear, noise-free image, soft highs, detailed mids and deep, nervous bass. It is an essential element to deliver the full potential of an audiophile system or a high-end home cinema installation.
